Saying “Pot Heads Are To Dumb To Look At The Bigger Picture They Only Care About Getting High.” is quite the generalization. I smoke it and am a member of MENSA, I would by no means say I was the smartest bloke around but it for one it enhances the way I view problems making it easier to find solutions. It actually enhances mental growth and can repair neurons (NOTHING else can). The facts are out there, just ask a researcher if you can find one, he will have a view quite different to the gov.

As an outside observer to your conversation I’d say your the one who’s immature for two reason. 1. George washington didn’t live 1000’s of years ago it was closer to 200 years ago. 2. The only reason there is any Marijuana laws today is because the politicians in texas in 1904 needed a way to control Mexican immigrants.

You really haven’t said anything to negate my arguement. Of course a CEO of a company isn’t going to give money to healthcare, schools BUT the Millions collected from taxes does. And yes I have faith that MY country (Canada) would use the surplus created from taxing marijuana companies to help the people. In a truely free society all drugs would be legal and it would be a social issue not a criminal issue. And if the laws against pot aren’t strict why the hell is the DEA arresting people still?

So by your standards both cigarettes and alcohol should be outlawed because they’re bad for you. But if they were illegal people would still find a way to get them and the government wouldn’t be making money from the taxes they produce driving personal taxes higher to cover the loss. If marijuana were legal we could be making money off of it to help inject money into the economy instead of organized crime. Which in turn could be spent on Health Care, Schools, infrastructure, etc.

I personally know quite a few Medical users that wouldn’t trade it for any drug made by man because of how much it helps them. I have one friend who was in a car accident that resulted in a brain aneurysm. After trying many man made drugs to control the swelling and not being able to function normally because of the side effects she was given her MMAR card. So if help the sick how can you still say it’s bad for you when her doctor is saying it’s the best thing for her?
